Its music, sometimes pastoral and serene, sometimes grim and despairing, made no sense that something special was going on, and my love for the indie action-RPG continues to rise. The visual presentation was minimal, but it was tailored. The battle was basic, but it was weighed.
I knew I’d be able to enjoy Deaths Door within five minutes of the first release. It features clear graphics and a simple-but-satisfying combat that hacked the hell out of players on both platforms and even threw our reviewer, Ethan Gach, a hint. Since it was released in July for PC and Xbox, Nintendo and Sony console owners have been clamoring for a chance to play the beloved indie Zelda-like action-adventure. On November 23th, the acclaimed dungeon crawler Deaths Door, which is released today by Sony’s State of Play event and on Twitter by Devolver Digital, will be able to jump from PC and Xbox to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
